Parallel in time to the development of these later phases, yet another, entirely different section has taken shape on the meadows behind the Village. The Camdens are elegant cluster homes placed side by side on neat rows of small rectangular lots organized around small parks or squares. Rear alleyways provide access to garages hidden behind each house and walled patio gardens provide outdoor privacy. East and West Camden are separated by a long wide park system that includes two large ponds that are home to a variety of wildlife and the popular Fearrington goats.
Prices range from $300,000 for 2 bedroom models up to $500,000 for larger three bedroom models.
Lots in the Camdens were built from the park out. East Camden was built first starting with the houses on E. Camden, then West Camden was developed starting on W. Camden and going toward 15-501. Around 2010 they started South Camden which is across Weathersfield for South Camden. Garages are accessed by private alleyways called "rows".
Streets in the Camdens are: E. Camden, E. Madison, McDowell, Yancey, W. Camden, W. Madison, Caswell, Caldwell, Bladen and Macon. Street addresses are odd on one side and even on the other.
